Giving for Impact: Building the Kingdom Together

by Karen Sargent

As we approach the holidays, our hearts are full of gratitude. We give thanks for the many ways God has grown us and strengthened us this past year. We want you to know that Be The Word Ministry is moving forward with confidence, grace and hope.

I am reminded of Romans 5:2 that we boast in the hope of the glory of God. We have truly seen God’s glory in the lives of the Blounts and also in the ministry. Making Romans 5:1-5 even more appropriate.

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,  through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.  Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;  perseverance, character; and character, hope.  And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Your Giving Has Made an Impact

As you know both Dr. Johnnie and Donis have been overcoming cancer for the last two years. We praise God that they have each received great reports from their doctors. Donis’ cell transplant in June was a great success. Dr. Johnnie was recently told that he is doing so well, he can stop all chemotherapy. We are so grateful they are feeling better and regaining their strength. The rebuilding and detoxing process is far from over. Thank you for your continued prayers and support.

Building the Kingdom Together

We were so blessed to have Donis on our final Bible Study of the year. We had a record number of viewers. What a privilege it is to minister each week to our loyal friends and family. So many joined us to get the update on our leader’s health and also to celebrate the faithfulness of God with us.

Through every challenge, God has shown Himself faithful—and your prayers and giving have carried this ministry forward. From baptisms on the shores of North Carolina to Bible studies that have ignited spiritual growth across nations, we’ve seen the fruit of faith in action.

Kingdom Growth

This year alone, numerous lives were transformed through your generosity:

  • Leaders were trained in August at our 16th Annual Leadership Conference. We were blessed to minister to people from all over the country. We received powerful teachings….
  • 86 Bible Studies were recorded live weekly on Facebook. We reached over 4,000 people in the live sessions, and countless others have been able to watch the recordings!
  • Over 20 meet and greets were held in homes and businesses where people heard the gospel and many accepted Christ and received personal encouragement through prayer and prophecy.
  • Families were strengthened through sermons and counseling.
  •  Missionaries were supported in Canada, Haiti, and the U.S.
  • Kingdom Academy students deepened their faith and stepped boldly into their callings.
  • Your contributions are touching lives locally and abroad. Help us continue to assist those who can’t help themselves. We do mission work here in the US, offering support to widows, assisting ministries who minister to sick children, partnering with others who provide home repairs or even a new home for those who are in need.

Giving For Impact

Every one of these moments began with a seed. Thank you for the impact you have made.

Do not underestimate the power of your seed, when it is sown into good ground. The Word says in 2 Corinthians 9:6 AMP Now remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows generously that blessings may come to others will also reap generously and be blessed.

Friends, the Lord said whatever you make happen for others He will cause it to happen for you. What do you need in your life, family, ministry, or business? Your harvest in the future begins with a seed. We are asking you to stand with us and extend the hands of Jesus to those who so desperately need help.

Seedtime and Harvest

Remember Genesis 8:22 “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.”

Now through December 2nd we are having our Giving Through Impact campaign. To learn more about our campaign and sow your seed click here.

Please let us know how to be in agreement with you in order for you to receive your maximum harvest. As long as the seed is in your hand, it can never become a harvest. In order for the Father to receive a family, He had to sow His son. Ephesians 1:5.
